I'm sure that dafluff is smirking while writing the above as I also have a sense of humor despite what others think. This thread is the joke!

Since "the above" on this thread has no meaning, there is no point in reproducing the words that prompted this hilarious comment.

I note as well that the only redeeming attribute of this thread is that it is impossible to be sanctioned for being off topic.

What?..."the above" on my post # 100 clearly refers to the 'quote' by dafluff! What do you not understand about its meaning?

Quote by FP17...."The entire thread is off topic."

Exactly... and goes back to the idea of silly posts to achieve enough to join the cage...I remarked on that in the beginning but was shot down.

Are you trying to remove all doubt as to your fleeting acquaintance with humor?

I cannot respond 'coz i don't have a clue what you're talking about. English I comprehend....but your question doesn't have a subject.

I'm looking at flights at the moment with Air Asia and was reminded of an in-flight incident that was rather unnerving on a leg I took from KL to Bali soon after Air Asia Flight 8501 was lost into the Java Sea killing 155 people in December 2014.. As we approached the position the plane went down, one of the cabin crew announced the cabin lights would be dimmed in memory of those lives lost a few days before and one of the staff would like to sing a song in memory. I have to say it was a very eerie and somewhat disconcerting experience listening to an off-key Indonesian mourning song in the gloominess of the cabin as we passed over the place where only a few days before another aircraft had fallen out of the sky.

Carry on.

Flight landing in Indonesia after severe turbulence, it must have been a bumpy ride gauging by the passenger's distress. The worst flight I can recall having was from Kupang to Denpasar 20 odd years ago in what may have been a DC 5 or something similar.

Never mind the distress, the hole in the ceiling is a pretty good indicator. I hope it wasn't caused by someone's head....This was sudden and severe turbulence with numerous people injured.

PSA: remain seated with your seat belt fastened whenever possible (ie. outside of bathroom breaks and quick stretches.)

Looking forward to watching this, a lot!

*Heavy Sigh* This is just one of many reasons I'm an antitheist.

That was a bizarre analogy. He's covering up his dirt rather than washing it away? And God the omniscient doesn't see the dirt? Ohhhh....kaaayyyy.

At least when the little blonde girls grow up they will be well placed to write the next generation of memoirs of an exotic childhood. Let's hope by then they've figured out the arrogance of all that religion.

Religion seems to work best among the isolated and illiterate primed by a heritage of superstition. Just a guess as to applicability here, though; not enough information.

Actually I have never thought of America this way, as "isolated and illiterate" but have had a secret admiration for aspects of American life and culture. I believe America still has one of the highest rates of church attendance in the world. Of course there cannot be any religious people at Harvard etc. it must be only dumb superstitious people. certainly nobody from the faculty of physics.
