2026/7 school fees

In my view we are paying too much for this "traditional education" , a system that did not improve much .
Long ago , I thought governments should hire the best teachers , record their lessons in video and then distribute through internet & to all public libraries (in DVD format , for example) , so students would download or borrow these videos (plus books) to watch/read at home .
This way all students of a country would have the (same) best teachers and at a fraction of the cost because :
1. not many more teachers would be required to just answer (online & face-to-face) some student's questions ,
2. school would not need classrooms (could be transformed into few offices for teachers + library + sports/recreational center) .
