Positive Effect of Trump

Not an effect, but still a good news: Trump have change his stance on almost every international matter he ever said in his presidency race and beginning of presidency.

Nato, NAFTA, Israel colony, unique china, etc.

He still already put all other country angry to him... but still, it's just for show how much great (as a bully) America can be.

Credit must be given where credit is due. As much as loose cannon that he is, most of Trump’s campaign rhetoric and all his infamous executive orders are probably fed to him by his co-president Stephen Bannon, bigly.

Sorry. Where is credit due? What possible credit could you give to Trump, and for what? Are you saying Trump should be given credit for Bannon?

/s. I mean the opposite, President Bannon should also get “credit” (a kick in the ass) along with Trump

President Bannon should get all the credit. It is he that is writing Trumps executive orders and them being signed without even a look at them. It is he that has circumnavigated including the legislators in any plans so far. It is he that feeds Trump's ears and Trump just repeats what's he's told. Yeah, President Bannon. The leader of the White Supremacy Movement.

I tried to not say anything about this. I was shocked that he won (well kind of won less 3 million votes) . I really hoped he wasn't going to be as insane as he seemed and would do good. Boy was I wrong. With his obsession with his tweets bullying business and private citizens. His decrees and his tantrums against the courts. I'm disgusted. Really don't want to talk about him but the positive side is in 2 years I'm sure the country will come to their senses and the shift will be towards the people and the left. God watch over him and don't let him go to far to the dark side.

And now General Flynn has 'resigned'.....Trump's appointed National Security Adviser.Trump convinced America that he would ensure their security...what a fuk-up.
He lied about his connection with the Russian Gov't.

I wonder how close is the Secretary of State Tillotson connected to the Russians...

"some people say" that mickey mouse and donald duck should be in the whitehouse , they would do a better job !

Just remember, whatever happens: it is NOT TRUMP's FAULT! It's probably the liberal media spreading fake news, but whatever the cause is, it is NOT TRUMP's FAULT.

I am actually getting more hopeful of Trump. He is just getting started, it will take more than 2 or 3 weeks to decide. I saw him in a news conference and he was speaking with some restraint, when discussing trade with Mexico and Canada. Also, General Flynn resigned. I would imagine there is a slight learning curve (sarcasm) being President and I don't imagine he is the first to have some transition problems. Maybe he is learning he needs to adjust and he may be dialing down some of the rhetoric.

First Flynn said he did not speak to the Russians. Then he did speak to the Russian Ambassador but never spoke of the sanctions being put on Russia by the Obama Administration. This was before Trump became president while Obama was still president. Then Flynn said he did speak to the Russians but couldn't remember if sanctions were discussed.

OK, When someone denies something, then says maybe but can't remember, I think it is a good chance that the answer is really yes. If you speak to an ambassador under a secret cloak, I think you would remember. Now, I also highly doubt that Flynn spoke to anyone before Trump knowing about it and Trump no doubt got a full briefing afterwards. Trump is in on this just as deep as Flynn. Just ask president Bannon.

The Russians said that nothing was said to their Washington Ambassador so they will be waking up to this 'good' news.

I was listening to a Democrat Senator and he believes despite the democrats loss they are are still not getting it? They are not taking serious enough some of the people who feel marginalized and who used to be democrats. He believes it may be time for a 3rd option/party?

The election process doesn't favor any other parties at the national level as they employ a 'winner take all' voting system. If proportional representation was allowed there would be a more diverse government. Problem with that is one or two third party representatives can hold a minority Congress to a ransom or standstill.

There are many third parties in USA but most significant are the Libertarians and Greens....but it takes a lot of money to mount a campaign and those major companies that sponsor most elections would probably feel their money is down the drain....except contributions are a tax-loss benefit anyway.

Which Democratic Senator? There aren't all that many of them at this point, so the name should be familiar...

I'd say the positive effect is that Trump single-handedly splintered both Republican and Democratic parties. That's the 2 major parties that have caused the consternation in US politics for almost 2 decades. If we end up with 4 parties, then he's truly Great American, I say.

Real positive: Saturday Night Live gets the highest rating in 6 years for their skit on Trump and Spicer, by Alec Baldwin and Melissa McCarthy. They are hilarious indeed.

I think it's a bad time to be a comedy writer, the comedy practically writes itself!
Yes and just wait until Rosie O'Donnell starts doing Pres. Bannon just to wind up Trump.

Da, with a little help from his best friend Vlady.

I can't remember which Senator. It was on Meet The Press and he was saying that Trump getting elected "could" have a positive effect in facilitating change in Democrats but the establishment didn't seem to be getting the alienation of some people at this point. Of course this is his opinion and I am paraphrasing.
