Latest Trump success.

Precisely. And this is just one of many other CBF crowdfunding scams on the web. She's now a millionaire - says it's for expenses with the balance going to charity. And, of course, we'll be shown audited accounts (around the same time pigs are rocket powered).

I hope you're not asserting this was her plan all along, that would be a whole new level of tin foil MAGA cap even for you. Now that it has been donated, I certainly hope she does follow through and give it to charity in a documented way... just like the surplus of Trump's 100 million dollar inauguration fund that he promised would go to charity... right? right?

How about the Trump / Kushner "Deal of the Century", Take it or Leave it, Israeli - Palestinian peace plan. He must have got this idea from his years of exceptional realestate business practices. But why don't we use the borders that existing in 1947?

Hint
: Israel didn't exist before 1948. So much for their historic claim to the land and any moral justification of our blind support. To deny this fact is not logical.

Hey now, I don't like Trump's position on Palestine at all, and blind support for Israel is absurd, but just because Israel "didn't exist" in 1947 does not mean they "didn't exist before 1948". It's a massively complicated problem and I contend that no rationally thinking person can think the proper solution is as simple as "return to the borders of [ANY year]."

And precisely when will we see the Dumpster's tax returns? Certainly not before pigs are rocket powered...

For discussion sake I thought I might provide a helpful guide, on how to solve complex problems....

Trump did a fantastic job of calling a woman, "Horseface".
Very presidential of him.

I would like to ask for every ones forgiveness ahead of time....thanks.

Yep. He's got a knack for telling it how it is! He just did fantastic job of winning again (in the courts).

Of course, he's had to stop calling Warren "Pocahontas" since her negative DNA results came in.

He now has to call her Liarwatha!! Very, very Democrat don't you think.

Yep. He's got a knack for telling it how it is!

Wow! Is that the best you can do? Trump gets a hug from a rap artist and the Dem "media" implodes. Listen to the KW comments your darling media are spouting and then weed out those that aren't RACIST.

Yep, Obama showed us a fake birth cert, but where's his high school year book? And why can't he name at least 3 drinking buddies he got blotto with?

Hate groups? The only hate groups I've seen are those Soros hysterical rent-a-mob banshees screaming outside elevators, inside restaurants and throwing soft drinks over MAGA cap wearers. If you're having problems discriminating between Dems and Reps, just look at the wimin. If they're as frugly as sin, they're Dems. Not a single one I'd grind pelvises with, even if Soros paid me.

Oh and BTW, Hillary touched my knob 42 years ago while hubby was on one of his rape fests. Didn't tell anyone as I was too embarrassed. And, and, and you have to believe my unsubstantiated allegation as I'm a man. (But I survived.)

While on the subject, CBF is definitely a liar! This is obvious if you don't need to be PC and listened to her testimony carefully. Also, if you've been paying attention, she has very very quietly WITHDRAWN HER ALLEGATION. Why? Because if there is no allegation the PD and FBI have nothing to investigate! Curious that. Very, very curious!

PS Get your facts straight, Tom!

I'm amazed anyone is stupid enough to support an idiot such as Trump.
Seriously, he's not an idiot, he''s a dangerous idiot, and one with far too much power.

He's wrecking the US economy and he's ruining any credibility the US had in the world. He's a sex pest at best, possibly even a rapist. He lies, cheats, makes outlandish claims that he can't possibly back up, and even lied about the size of his crowd when the photos showed he was wrong.

He's taken allies and turned them into enemies, and taken enemies and turned himself into their bitch.
The world is laughing at him (literally), but many US voters are still stupid enough to support him.

The point that I was sacastically making is that we need to get over a certain group's claim of it's was always mine and if you don't agree then your racist. I like to think of the situation as a dinner guest that refused to leave and eventually forced the owner out of the house. When the police showed up to mediate the dispute, they just assumed the current occupent (dinner guest) was the owner and arrested the people outside (house owner) for distubing the peace.

To show just how far America has descended into psychotic hypocrisy and moral depravity, let's look at the recent words of one of America's most cherished Christian leaders, Rev. Pat Robertson. The good reverend, who presumably thinks he follows Christ's teachings, has publicly said that Trump is right to essentially give a pass to Saudi Arabia on the assassination and mutilation of journalist Jamal Khashoggi because to do otherwise would threaten an arms deal worth billions to the US, lots of jobs etc etc. Just so we understand - one of America's leading religious leaders has perfectly reflected the psychotic hypocrisy and moral depravity of the country. Whoever has studied Christ's teachings knows that a) he preached compassion and non-violence - NOT billion dollar arms sales to wage war against innocent people (eg Yemen); and b) money was never an object for him, in fact he resented the financial dealings of the money changers and lenders of his time (so the economic prosperity and jobs claim is bullshit from a real Christian point of view). America has lost its soul, it's easy for anyone to see. So, no, I am not surprised by the deplorables, slack jawed yokels, white supremacists and other scum that support people like Trump and Pat Robertson... Good luck with your country America and please don't infect the rest of the world with your sick beliefs.

An interview with Francis Fukuyama ( a somewhat famous Stanford political scientist).....discussing the rise, in various forms, of people seeking dignity and respect and I would imagine meaning and power as part of this........it is an excerpt from an interview. (forgive all the adds etc. in the National Post Newspaper....it is Canadian).

Here also is a brief video 1 minute something.......just the way I like it simple and brief....

I know analogies are intended to simplify difficult concepts, but I think your analogy is far too simple.

To quote the wikipedia page:
The Palestine region or parts of it have been controlled by numerous different peoples and regional powers, including the Canaanites, Amorites,[2] Ancient Egyptians, Israelites, Moabites, Ammonites, Tjeker, Philistines, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, ancient Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, different dynasties of the Early Muslim period (Umayads, Abbasids, Seljuqs, Fatimids), Crusaders, Late Muslim dynasties (Ayyubids, Mamluks, Ottoman Turks), the British, Jordanians (1948–1967, on the "West Bank") and Egyptians (in Gaza), and modern Israelis and Palestinians.

Who is the home owner in the analogy? Who is the dinner guest?

The intractable problems of the Middle East and Palestine and Israel seem as if they are never to be resolved. The Palestinians call to the Muslim world for "justice" and a humane resolution. But intrinsically there is such hatred of Jews within the Middle East and the Muslim world that any acceptable deals are difficult to find
On the other hand I recall a discussion with an older Jewish bloke when raising some of the contradictions of humanity and extreme Zionism and suggested if anything had been learned from the Holocaust it was the need for humanity and respect of others. His response was that what had been learned from the War was that Israel needed to be strong and never again be seen as weak.
And around all this you have geopolitics, oil resources and other complex issues. In Australia the new (unelected by the people) prime minister, Scott Morrison has just indicated Australia may build an embassy in Jerusalem. This of course has now threatened a recently signed trade deal with Indonesia and President Widodo has made it clear that he is very unhappy about this suggestion.
The conservative Australian government holds on with a one seat majority and now that the recently dumped Liberal Prime Minister Malcolm Turnball has resigned from parliament his seat is being contested in an election this weekend. At the heart of Prime Minister Morrison's proposal for relocating the Australian Embassy in Jerusalem is the fact that there is about a 12% Jewish population in the electorate and Morrison is desperate to keep the seat and keep the Australian Federal government in office. Of course once the election is over and if the Liberals remain in office I guess Morrison can then back away from the Jerusalem embassy idea.
So justice and humanity don't seem to count for much when all these other issues play a part in the decision making of governments.

Moderation Note:

"Vulgarity" - Example given is a paraphrase of CBF's Senate Committee report, from a male perspective. Also, I don't see any follow through on the "expletives" and "ad hominems" reported to Mods some time back. This is clear Mod bias!

"Aggressive" - I don't see this; could you pls specify the word(s) that you feel particularly threatened by? Of course, we need to bear in mind that many of your readers are ultra-sensitive, having gone into meltdown over "err...thing"

"Vulgar, obscene" - "Kn*b" is veiled innuendo (preferred by a number of your readers). Would you prefer the more technically correct "p*nis"?

"disparaging to women" - The amusing irony is your insistence on treating people differently depending on gender. This is against forum guidelines and the very definition of Sexism and a precursor to Misogyny. Pls be careful!

"The Cage" - No Thanks. The fact that you've had a Cage from long before I started posting clearly indicates that you've recognized a serious problem with immature vulgar individuals on your site. Thus I find it beneath what we expect of responsible moderators for you to troll my posts for imaginary (for the most part) examples that satisfy your optic.

If this is the way you (and your colleagues) feel, you should delete ALL my posts from the site. You have my permission.

PS I always conform to forum guidelines.

Dear Gratilla,

We take good note that you disagree with our assessment.

Nevertheless we confirm you the terms of our warning and expect you to conform to it.

Failure to do so would trigger further moderation of your posts as per our warning.

Though we don't need your permission to delete part or the totality of your posts, we appreciate that you see no objection for us to do so.

Thank you.

News, midday today, from Australia with the unelected Prime Minister Scott Morrison now backing away from his statement, pre by-election for his predecessor's seat, and saying he would relocate the Australian Embassy in Jerusalem. In an earlier post I pointed out that with the Liberal Conservative government in the balance the statement was a desperate bid to win votes from the 12% Jewish population in the electorate and Morrison could step back from this controversial position once the election was over. As it happens the coalition lost the seat so Morrison's hold on his prime ministerial role is even more shaky so I guess he can now feel the hot breath of the Nationals (Part of the coalition) worried about upsetting the recently signed trade deal with Indonesia.

As Morrison said today, no decision on relocating the Embassy has yet been made as they carefully consider all the ramifications.
