The intractable problems of the Middle East and Palestine and Israel seem as if they are never to be resolved. The Palestinians call to the Muslim world for "justice" and a humane resolution. But intrinsically there is such hatred of Jews within the Middle East and the Muslim world that any acceptable deals are difficult to find

Given the Jews invaded by mass illegal immigration, used terrorism as a political tool, then started wars to steal the land they occupied illegally, it's hardly a shock no bugger wants them in the middle east.

I'm not surprised we arrived at a micro lilliput level of thinking again. Unless I can prove it was my wallet in the first place, I will be convicted of theft if I take it from you again. And that's the whole point of the region; the complexity is enormous and every claim on the lands can be countered with arguments that other people lived there 'before them'.

Now I don't believe in the traditional Jewish Exodus claim on the land (nor in the "my grandfather kept his goats here" from locals), but in ancient Canaan times, there were definitely multiple ethnicities (who developed into Palestinians, Jordans, Israeli Jews, .....) present in that area. So the claims of all parties are somewhat valid.

And if a president claims his (Jewish) son in law can sort that out in no-time, he's even more ill-advised than I thought.

Very funny. A redeeming feature about America is that it is possible to say all this stuff and not get immediatey asassinated or spend forever in gaol. Imagine trying this in Indonesia, Myanmar, Russia, China or probably the majority of countries in the world.

Now that is a nice example of false information, probably from some fake news or conspiracy website.

Biden did commute the sentence of 1.500 people. In law, "commuting a sentence" means reducing a criminal punishment to a less severe penalty. This is different from a pardon, which removes the conviction altogether. Which just happened to the TV couple btw.

A major reason for the commutation was to get rid of discrepancies; the US put -percentage wise- more people in jail than any other country. Much more than Russia and China. Also, people like drug offenders stay(ed) in prison longer. Effects from the ‘war on drugs’ programs from decades ago.

After they saw the light they implemented the Fair Sentencing Act for instance which decreases penalties. And now non violent drug users who were rotting away in jail got some leniency.
