Hahaha took me 2 views to work it out, very good hahaha

When you grow up poor, having a wad of cash in your purse or wallet puts you immediately at ease and right with the world.

I believe everything in this world has a purpose but cannot figure what this does....anybody?

It's to help beginning skateboarders learn to deal with downhill slopes, obviously. They climb the steps, get on their skateboard, and scoot down the short, relatively safe incline. Then the walk up and try again. When they feel comfortable with it, they can graduate to a larger hill.

That's all I got.

That is probably it and makes sense..... but seems an expensive play-toy.
I had the idea small trucks/vans could be loaded but the steps precluded that idea...it should have a straight edge (no steps) to make that idea practical.

It's obviously a wheelchair accessible entry to the same place the stairs go.

hahaha funny as there's nothing there.... whether going up the ramp or up the steps.

Seriously....that's a plausible reason if you meant it's a practice ramp for people in wheelchairs, or their attendants, to practice going up a ramp and then taking it down some steps safely...or v.v......:thumb:

Still seems to me overbuilt for that purpose.

Maybe Wonder Woman's invisible retirement house is in the background. Super heroes get old too!

Clearly an Indonesian government financed construction project with the customary (and only) purpose of assuring that everyone involved gets paid.

I was thinking this makes sense when the notion of the 'bridge that goes nowhere' sprung into my mind so I googled. The response was overwhelming....I didn't realize there were so many goofy roads and bridges built that went nowhere.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_to_nowhere

These make the useless pillars in Jalan Asia Afrika in Senayan look puny. I now think Indonesia has a long way to catch-up with the stupidity of many other nations... even as they appear to try their best to emulate.
Indonesians didn't invent 'pork-barrel' construction but have gone a long way to perfect it.

Actually it is a "lovers' leap" spot for ants. The star-crossed lovers trudge up the ramp, then fling themselves off the top step. But since they have exoskeletons, one "splat" may not be enough. Thus, if necessary they can drag their broken bodies to the next step and try again. If that doesn't work, third time's the charm.

(Yeah, I have a twisted sense of humor. You had to ask?)
