What is it with Asians and email? Thais are the same.

Fax, like the smoke signal, a museum relic. I suppose if you really want to grab someone's attention, a fax can do the trick, even if it tags the sender as trapped in a bygone era.

5 years ago when I established a company in Indonesia, they insisted that we had a fax and fax line. I had forgotten about faxes, but could see that all stores still had them on their shelves.. I made a dedicated line, and bought a fax.. until now it has still not been used, and with its original role of thermo paper...

And I bet it was either from a Prince in Nigeria or an office supplies company with a promo on copy paper

I remember the good old days when we used to get spam faxes hahaha
Nope, an actual order from a customer. I used to hate all the “free trip” faxes I’d get.

I had a toll free number and dedicated fax line for a decade or more. Cost me $400-500 a year. I switched to a virtual fax number, that just emails me when a fax arrives. Costs $2 a month or so.

I still have a 21 year old, deluxe Panasonic plain paper fax machine that works fine. I’ve used it more for copying stuff the last decade than faxes, but it now only gets used maybe once a year to fax something. It’s unplugged, otherwise.
