Merp renew surabaya

[Wong]

Hi there, I am in Surabaya, my merp will expired on 27 July 2024.
What kind of documents do I need to renew merp. Is it easy to renew merp? I ask an agent it charge 850k. Can I go to renew by myself or my sponsor ( husband ) has to go? Thanks in advance.

Very easy.

MERP refresher, share your experience

So I just renewed my MERP for another 2 years as part of my KITAP. I renewed at the Tangerang immigration office which has been recently renovated. It all went well except for 2 things: I had to go there 3 times when I was under the impression that twice would/should be enough: First time...

In my case the WNI spouse does it by herself so I don’t have to show up, I’m still not sure if that’s possible at every Immigration office.

So a form to fill in, a sponsor letter, passport, KITAP, marriage certificate, KK, and that’s more or less it. (Just take everything you have including copies.)

There are some threads about the sponsor letter also.

And, if you don’t have plans to travel outside of Indonesia in the near future, it’s optional, I believe.

Is there a ''contoh" for the sponsor letter (spouse) or "formulir"?

I also just renewed my Kitas visa until 10-06-2025. I asked my agent, if I have the MERP stamp, and he said on the piece of paper included with my passport, has a line that says (stay/ Multiple entries Permit expiry 10-06-2025) is this is all I need to leave and return, without any problem? He said there is no MERP stamp in my passport. Is this true, or will I have trouble if I leave, and want to return? I don't want to lose my Kitas visa.

The formulir will be provided by immigration. Some sponsor letter examples from a google search;
