Anyone experienced problems mailing stuff out of Indonesia. Even pre current situation

A mate of mine has been trying to mail me a pair of glasses but no joy. Even JNE Express won't take them. There is some restriction. We've been trying since last year.

Because it's glass. Fragile. They won't accept such things
Try wrapping them and including something else and put "children's toys" (fancy dress?)

They have plastic lenses. Not super fragile.

put them in a shoe box with a load of tat and put kids toys, no commercial value, nothing fragile.

Have you try Pos Indonesia?
Years ago when we lived in Brunei, we bought prescrip glasses for my daughter when we're back home Jakarta. I's very progressive lenses, special material to keep thin and light, not available in Brunei at that time). Unfortunately, took more time and we had to return. So my brother collected and sent the glasses via Pos Indonesia. We received safely.
