America is thriving, how about the other part of the world?

Good for you, then I apologize because you’re one of the exceptions.

White supremacy is not always visible like those people wearing white bedsheets in public, in most cases it is disguised by certain languages and behavior. The political term is “dog whistle”. When trump said “shithole countries”, the implication is very clear that he means countries not populated by white people. I’m not saying all Republicans are closet racists, and I can even say that not all trumpers are racists. However, a lot of them are; the people Hillary called ‘deplorables’. She came to regret that remark, but ironically she was accurate.
The implications of "the shithole countries" are shithole countries... It is what it is. Why do you make it so complicated and again .. back to skin colour? I am sure he did not refer it to Japan or China... they aren't "white people" country.

How are you sure he’s not referring to China? Do you even read half of the remarks he made about China?

I’m gonna stop here MissN, I forgot that you’re not too keen on researching the topic before you make your statements.

UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Botswana (higher GDP than Indonesia), China, Taiwan, South Korea, Iran (despite lunacy there), nobody would ever call them shithole countries and are not in that category, actually the opposite.

Shithole countries would be the ones with rotten, dysfunctional, and corrupt systems beyond repair. As the term is not politically correct, we use different terms such as "there is much space for improvement".or similar.

So a bit like America then. Ironically

The American dream. The conservative view often seems to be that these are the undeserving who should be just swept up and got rid of. Tragic. There are millions of Central and South Americans who believe if only they can get into the States they will have a wonderful life. Just as across Africa and other countries with no employment and no prospects there are millions in poverty who have the same delusions about getting in to Britain or other European countries.

Those that get in and do not fall into desperate poverty or drugs then become perfect for exploitation as cheap labour. Now with Covid and economic disruption there is increasing hostility even towards genuine refugees.

A person or a family doesn’t print U.S. dollars.

The debt is largely due to the several trillion dollars in stimulus money spent to prevent economic collapse due to the pandemic. It’s one of the reasons of the inflation.

Big defense spending is another contributor to the debt. Congress regularly buys more equipment than what’s requested by the military. The military industrial complex has a huge influence. On top of that, the two wars that lasted two decades used up $6.5 trillion.

Another thing that doesn’t help: tax cuts for corporations and the rich by the previous administration. It costs roughly a trillion dollars a year in lost revenue. This is why I have no respect for Republicans. During Obama’s administration they insisted that any legislation has to be revenue-neutral (not a bad idea), but when they won the presidency they easily passed a tax cut law that creates a huge, lasting deficit. They don’t actually believe in fiscal responsibility, they are just using it as an excuse for obstructionism.

How much do private insurance and individuals spend a year for health care? About $1.6 trillion (in 2019). If we stop bombing people into democracy and stop giving rich people tax cuts, we’d have enough money to fund universal healthcare.
Nimbus you and I see eye to eye, your state being a red state you should run for Congress and I’ll move there and vote for you, california being a blue state won’t miss my vote

You know he is not.

And you know why …. 😀😀😀

Because of your buddy Trump
What did he do within his 4 years that make you think that way? And of that 4 years.. 1 year is pandemic. 😀😀

What make you think I am Trump’s buddy? I dont like him, but my dislike does not blind me from seeing the truth.
