Looking for opinion on Apartment near Kuningan/Sudirman

Hello expats in Jakarta. Would you please kindly share your experience living in apartment near Kuningan/Sudirman? I bet things has progress a lot in Jakarta. I am looking for a comfortable place to live for 2 adults.. no kids. Excited to move back to Jakarta! I am not necessarily looking for apartment, just want to hear the experience.

Welcome back.

We helped some friends (no kids) with finding an apartment. Their demand was it had to be pet friendly (i.e. they have small dogs). Difficult to find and there were only two around that area.

The one they went for was in Kuningan. It was the Verde 2. Very nice design, huge units, good facilities and nice shared areas. Honestly I was impressed.

But also amazingly expensive.

Hi! I lived in Indonesia before and really enjoyed my time there. Kuningan/Sudirman areas are quite central and convenient. I’m also curious to hear others’ recent experiences!

Welcome back! I lived in Kuningan until 2 years ago - I now live in menteng/ cikini and prefer it up here. Kuningan is nice but the macet is bad....getting home from the office was a nightmare.
If you don't work 9-5 its possibly a better experience but the traffic along the main roads in both Kuningan and Sudirman really do put me off.

Thank you! I will look into this one. So far, we experienced Sky Garden, Branz and Newton 1 through AirBnb. Some agent suggested South Hills, but a bit pricey.
