Hi All,

We are having issues with our web host and their servers are having intermittent connection issues. As of right now they do not have an estimated time of fixing this error.

This results in not being able to load the website/forum from time to time, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

PS: If you have a VPN connection, using it sometimes helps, but is not foolproof.

Our service provider reports that the issues on their side has been resolved, so access to our forums should be back to normal. Thank you for your patience, and please let us know if there are any other issues.

After opening the site and looking at a couple of threads when I tried another it timed out and had to log in again.

Yeah, it looks like there are still problems for people using Indihome. I can access the forum completely problem free on other providers (telkomsel, or using VPN). So investigating this further.

It's not only Indihome. It's also First Media. And they have a much bigger customer base.

Accessing from Houston, Texas on a fairly fast network. Am able to access, but running much slower than usual. I would say maybe 2-3 times slower on web page access.

Access speed to the web pages on the site recently returned to normal. Looking good from Houston!

The landline ISP’s seem to have the problem with the website, via IndoSat or Telkomsel there are no issues here.

Sh!t. Just switched to WiFi of a coffee shop and there we go again... extremely slow.

Still having problems connecting from some Indonesian ISPs this morning. This is quite puzzling.

If I use indihome, I can't connect to forum.

But using:
VPN
Opera browser with their free VPN
Proxy site such as https://www.proxysite.com/
Telkomsel (turning off phone wifi when I'm at home)

all work just fine.

Checking with https://www.uptrends.com/tools/uptime it shows the site is accessible from all their locations, including Jakarta and Singapore. So not sure yet why it hates Indihome, and First Media.

clear your cache or ctrl alt delete or f5 or something like that
or update your software
etc etc

It took me 5 different tries from the US to connect today.

I also get Site unavailable then 2 secs later it returns in all its glory.

So I think I may have solved the problem for indihome: resetting my modem did it for me.

To do this all you need to do is to turn off the modem (either with the power button, or unplugging it), wait about 3 minutes and turn it back on.

I would much appreciate it if someone else on indihome (and possibly first media) can try this and see if it helps.

I did it and now can access the forum. :)

On First Media it's still somewhat of a hit and miss. One reload or post opening is fast, the next one times out.

Use indihome at home in kota wisata, require to reload when accessing this forum, then seem okay.
