Aug 2017 Marriage KITAS I-317 Online Application Question

I am an American in Bali married to an Indonesian Wife.

I want to get a Marriage Kitas that will allow me to stay 1 year.

Visited Immigration in Denpasar and have been told that the entire process is now being done online and no longer in person and was instructed to go to:http://visaonline.imigrasi.go.id and have my indonesian wife register online and once registered to apply for the 317 Telex Visa.

She registered and was issued a username and password for login and now we are ready to file the online application in order to receive a Telex Visa.

Once you login and click on Visa Approval button we get to a screen as follows:

Type of Visa _________________
Arrival Purpose/Objective _______________
Index -
Representatives of Indonesia locations for acquiring VISA __________________

On the dropdown menu i am given 4 options
1 - Visit Visa
2 - Multiple Visit Visa
3 - Admission Visa
4 - Limited Stay Visa on Arrival.

I LOOKED AT EACH OF THE DROP DOWN OPTIONS AND THE ONLY ONE WHICH WILL LEAD ME TO INDEX CODE 317 IS THE ADMISSION VISA.

I THEN CHOSE:

TIDAK BEKERJA UNTUK PENYATUAN KELUARGA AND
PENYATUAN KELUARGA
Index: 317
Representatives of Indonesia locations for acquiring VISA - SINGAPURA
Duration of Stay Until: Date ???? Periode ???

This is where I get stuck. What do I put down as the Duration of Stay?

Finally I was told that after submitting this application online that we will receive a TELEX VISA which I then take with me over to singapore. What do i do once in singapore?

I might be totally out of order here as I'm not in the situation..... but I understood if a WNA spouse was in Indonesia on a Sosbud, sponsored by the WNI spouse, that can be converted locally without leaving Indonesia into a Kitas...did I get that wrong?

Welcome to the forum Mr. Shannon Davis...
You didn't explain what visa you are currently on but, as Dafluff has confirmed, if you are on a spouse sponsored Sosbud you can convert that to a Kitas without leaving Indonesia.

I am on a Tourist Visa that was extended for 30 days under the VOA program.

My indonesian wife and I married in Indonesia and I am told that I now need to apply for the 1 years KITAS under section 317 and to do so we register online and apply to receive a Telex Visa Approval which i would take over to Singapore to the Indonesian Embassy to receive the Visa.

Where I am stymied is the online application. The information in the link you provided does not answer several specific questions asked to complete the online application. Apparently some of the menu options have changed since the person who wrote that blog posted it..

Specifically:

Hi Mr.Shannon Devid. I would like to ask some question. I want to apply visa 317. My partner jut got working kitas now I'm holding social visa at the moment. my question is You need to go to Singapore for get telex? or not need to leave Indonesia.
