We went directly to the BRI Bank co-located/affiliated with immigration here and paid our 200k rupiah vs sending it through our bank (I envisioned more of the same b.s. had I not). Payment...- Lila

If a family member were to mail me a new Apple Macbook Pro laptop from the U.S.A. would i have to pay any import cost, tariff, or tax to Indonesia Customs? Apple products are far to expensive to buy here in Indonesia.- Lila

Well i can tell you right now as i look at it: http://visa.imigrasi.go.id ***the above website once again states their website(s) are under maintenance and sending out emails citing errors regarding applications that are not necessarily so. Good grief. Will they ever get it together!?- Lila

It will take a long time...I submitted my application for the second time and have been waiting a week already just for them to review it...again. First time i waited and waited until i finally received a response stating "data error" 75 to 175 kb in jpeg format on supporting documents, etc...- Lila

Update: So we got the email stating they received our resubmitted application with a PDF attached as we did on the first try. Big difference though. The PDF attachment on the first submittal showed the immigration emblem and bar code only. The second submittal responded to was the same except...- Lila

Thanks jstar...yes we are in Jakarta and yes the website does not show data error. That is the email response we got though from immigration regarding our application submittal when they supposedly went to review it. Yet when we logged on to view our application only then did it have message...- Lila
