    In Thailand most used cars from "tents" have had the airbags removed as they are worth $100 - $1500 a pop. Maybe Indonesia is the same?

    Like where I live in rural Asia except their is a village shop 300m away that sells beer, candy and Ice cream. When I lived in Karawang it was the same. People generally moving about by motorcycle so few pedestrians and no hawkers or street stalls. Only tire shops, tools shops and no sidewalk.

    My wife is Thai. Looks Indonesia, maybe, but is not. When living in Indo and at the market she would pretend to be dumb so as to not get over charged. Weird but that is what she told me.

    My understanding of the current situation is that IF he and family are invited to the UK they still get the "old" security. Currently they can't simply fess up. I'm sure if they wanted to ,say, go to Balmoral for Xmas and stay on the estate their security would be fine. Same would go for summer...

    No I used to live in Pangkalan Kerinci about 75kms away. I have a mate John who lives there. There is always Pekanbaru Hash House Harriers. (https://www.lkhhh.com/) Maybe one of them is from Rumbai their postal address is. Siak 4 wasn't there when I was. There was a U-turn down by the river.

    I've stayed many times at the Mutiara Hotel. It is adequate. You can then walk over the bridge if that is your thing. I would take a Grab or Gojek.

    This is important. The original Korean document needs to be authenticated by the Indonesian Embassy in Korea (Rubber stamp important) it may also need to be done by Indonesian Dept. of Foreign affairs. The embassy will be able to tell you. Then the wedding certificate needs to be translated...
