So I'm wondering what's the term referring to a boyfriend/male who will help language learning? Especially when the hair isn't long..

Very funny....in my youth learning a different language this way was called 'pillow talk' and could be dangerous because, in some countries, language defines gender.

Just found this blog, written by a lady, who doesn't recommend this procedure to learn a foreign language....very witty....last para...

I know by the reference the term refers to a romantic partner, but can it also means platonic friends as in girl/female friends or boy/male friends? Not necessarily a friend to sleep with..
